Sometimes the process can be relatively quick maybe as little as eight hours, but more often I come back again and again to the piece until it feels finished. Sometimes this is very iterative and I might come back to a work months later and change it or develop it in some way. I don’t worry too much how long things take. Occasionally I will abandon or even destroy a piece if I think it can never work in the way I want. Best Nicholas
