    1. Hi Ashley! I don’t sell my work online, although I do have a website showing my work at http://www.nicholasherbert-drawings.co.uk where I show selected works by year and place. However, my actual sales are handled by the gallery that represents me and where I exhibit, Alan Kluckow Fine Art. I currently have six pieces there in the winter exhibition. I may have a two-man show there later in the year and another solo show in 2018. My work is somehow different in real life in a way that a photograph doesn’t show (even though I spend a lot of time trying to match the real painting’s feel and tonality) This is probably true for all art of course, but I work with a very muted set of colours and relatively low contrasts and the final surface is an important aspect of the works. Online selling is difficult because it is impossible to really know what one is looking at compared to the piece seen in reality. Hope that answers your question. How about you? Do you find you can sell successfully online? Carry on the great work! Best wishes, Nicholas.
